Dear Ridgecrest Families:
We had a great first week back from Spring Break last week. Mr. Braun, Mrs. Nelson, Mrs. Bennett and I conducted grade level expectation assemblies with each grade level to review the "Raider Way" and set high expectations for the rest of the school year. A copy of our presentation is attached below so you can see what we discussed. One of the things we did discuss was the fact that students may end up missing some of our special end-of-the-year events we do as a part of progressive consequences. We are also going to be assigning after school detention in grades 3-6 as part of our progressive consequences. We hope that these consequences will serve as a deterrent to students. We appreciate your support as we navigate through the last 36 days of school! We are poised to finish strong!
This week we are recognizing and celebrating our Office Professionals and Facilities Operation Manager: Mrs. Marsha Stewart, Mrs. Nikole Milliken, and Mrs. Julia Garcia. Please join us in this week of celebration! You can drop by a note or small token of your gratitude anytime from 9 am-4:00 pm.
The season of celebration and recognition continues into May! Next week, May 2-6, is teacher appreciation week followed by nurses appreciation week May 9-13. These past two years have been especially challenging for our staff and teachers. Your expressions of gratitude are greatly welcomed!
Don't forget...this Friday will be an early release at 1:06 pm for Elementary Conferences.
